Kitara Nation is a fully registered arts company promoting poetry in secondary schools and higher institutions of learning. It is a vibrant learning space for poets to express themselves.

Mission: To popularise Poetry as a tool for Social change.

itara Nation operates on a triple P model: Page, Performance and Print. First, the poetry is written on page then it is taken to stage and put in print.
The company opened its doors in 2016 working with mainly secondary schools through teaching of poetry and staging poetry productions. The idea has been to make the students appreciate poetry but more importantly to help the student use poetry as a platform of expression.
The poetry is mainly themed on the subject of identity.
